S is for Shasta Daisy, ©Amber R Turner
This is an all ages, coloring book page. The
inspiration for all of these motifs comes from the Luther Burbank Home
and Garden (LBH&G) in Santa Rosa California. These plants were all
developed by Luther Burbank and include the Shasta Daisy, fancy
sunflowers, sweet peas and plums. The scrolling text is from his
greenhouse design and the patterns from his home. This page is first in a
series of drawings for an alphabet coloring book project. LBH&G is
an historical garden, a research garden and a living museum. It runs on
the love and hard work of volunteers. If you can, and I know times are
hard, please make a donation to this lovely precious place so that it
can continue its important work. You may download and color this page.
